IT WAS A SMALL IDEA AT FIRST.
Humble beginnings. A group of kindred spirits scouring the hills of the Kopuwai Range for nature's treasures, scrabbling amongst the schist and thyme, guided by Prophet’s Rock on the horizon. Gathering and creating something to enjoy together. It was an opportunity to take a breather from our busy lives to admire the view, have a laugh, and dream of what could be.
AND IT GOT US WONDERING - IF THIS IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF, WHY AREN’T WE DOING MORE OF IT?
Creating something special from not much is something we hold near. A testament to our waste-not want-notting forebears. Believing that with a little creativity and a bit of elbow grease, we could craft miracles from not a lot. Appreciating the little things, in the process of creating and bringing you, we hope, a great thing. When enjoyed with good folk, others too would embrace the notion that despite all the extra, life, like nature, is quite simple really.
